Yesterday Apple acquired the popular popular iOS sleep tracking platform Beddit. Beddit also makes hardware for sleep tracking such as Beddit 3 Sleep Monitor, which is placed underneath a bed sheet for more accurate sleep tracking. Beddit gives you the full picture of your sleep with measurement of:

– Sleep
– Heart rate
– Respiration
– Snoring
– Bedroom temperature and humidity

Since the acquisition there has been a privacy policy change “Beddit has been acquired by Apple. Your personal data will be collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the Apple Privacy Policy”.

Sleep tracking is a popular tool since the launch of the Apple Watch and we could see more of a push on his with the next generation of Apple Watch and WatchOS.
