Fed Con 25 is here and jailbreaking is making the news again this time with the Apple Watch being successfully jailbroken.

This is the first jailbreak of the Apple Watch allowing full root access and according to Max Bazaliy of Lookout and the fried Apple team who is responsible for the jailbreak says “the advantage of having jailbroken Apple Watch is the access to full file system and even databases which houses data for things like health and fitness, calls, messaging, emails, and contacts.” The Apple Watch was running watchOS 3

A jailbroken Apple Watch also provides access to Apple Pay, SMS, calls, photos, calendars, GPS, call recordings, microphone and much more.

Now before you get too excited the Bazaliy doesn’t plan on releasing the Jailbreak but will be using it for more research.
