Amazon CEO Jeff Bazos testified before a House Judiciary subcommittee about whether the company is using its monopoly power to stifle competition.

Committee members grilled Bazos on whether Amazon is indeed treating competitors and small businesses fairly as they begin to achieve market dominance.

Bazos was asked if Amazon used the data from sellers on their platform against them and for Amazon to benefit including the copying of popular items at lower prices. The committee also questioned Amazon’s CEO about the problem of counterfeit goods and what the company is doing to try and stop this practice.

Bazos was not the only one to face Congress today as Mark Zuckerberg CEO of Facebook, Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai and Apple CEO Tim Cook also faced Congress.
