Apple releases iOS 12.4 beta 2

Today Apple released ios 12.4 beta 2 to registered developers just four days after releasing the first beta to.

The changes for this beta are minimal with the only changes are a Modem Firmware being updated from 1.05.03 – to 1.06.01 And changes to prepare iPhones and iPads for Apple Card, the new credit card coming from Apple later this summer.

 

We are expecting everything is are bug fixes, as Apple prepares to release the first iOS 13 bet on June 3rd 2019.

 

Apple releases iOS 12.4, watchOS 5.3, tvOS 12.4 beta 1 and MacOS 10.14.6 to developers

Today Apple released ios 12.4 beta 1 to registered developers just two days after releasing ios 12.3 to the public. So far the changes are minimal with the only change noted is the Modem Firmware being updated from 1.05.03 – to 1.06.01. It is rumoured that 12.4 will eventually hold the software animations for the upcoming apple card in the summer.

Twitter user SteveMoser tweeted out “Here is the diff for iOS 12.4.0 beta 1. The main difference is a currently hidden app for iPad to setup Apple Card. It is a separate app from Apple Wallet () since Apple Wallet doesn’t exist on iPad.

Currently no other changes in any of the beta’s have revealed any major changes and so we can assume that most of the things are bug fixes, personally, we have had some issues with calls since the last two betas of iOS 12.3.

Apple releases beta 6 of iOS 12.3 to developers

Just three days after releasing beta 5, Apple has released Beta 6 of iOS 12.3 to registered Developers.

The release could be the Golden Master (GM) version for beta testers with a Public release next week.

What to expect from iOS 12.3

iOS 12.3 brings apples new Apple TV app There’s a new “Channels” feature built in to the app, which is a major part of Apple’s new services push. Apple has unveiled it’s plans to add its new TV+ subscription service to the TV app, with TV+ offering all of Apple’s original TV shows and movies.

Rumours have surfaced that apple are creating an updated version of the TV app for the Apple TV 3.

Within the iOS Wallet app, users can see a longer transaction history setting the stage for the Apple Card launching in the summer.

Not much else is known about any changes yet in this beta and are mostly bug fixes but we will update this post if any further updates are found.

Apple releases iOS 12.2, 5.2, tvOS 12.2, and macOS 10.14.4 beta 6 for Developers

Apple has released the sixth iOS 12.2 developer beta just one week after releasing beta 5. Currently we have seen a change of AirPlay icon in Control Center, new Animoji characters including the new shark, owl, giraffe, and warthog options, Air Quality Index reading in Maps, icon change for the News app and Apple need in Canada, Safari warns about websites not supporting HTTPS and a big focus on supporting smart TVs that work with Apple’s Home app. There have been several smaller changes over the previous beta releases.

Apple has also released the sixth beta of WatchOS 5.2 beta 4. It is likely this is the last beta with the conference next week. Registered developers can download the new iOS 12.2 beta from Apple’s Developer Center or over-the-air once the proper configuration profile has been installed from the Developer Center.  We will update this article with any changes found.

Apple releases iOS 12.1.1 beta 1

Apple has released the first iOS 12.1.1 beta with build the number 16C5036c. Apple also released the first tvOS 12.1.1 beta with build number 16K5035b, and the first macOS Mojave 10.14.2 beta which build is number 18C31g.

At this stage, nothing is known about the contents of each beta. Users need to have the developer beta profile installed for this beta.

Update: The Live Photos feature returns, but both devices must be updated to use it.

Update 2: Apple has pulled the MacOS Mojave 10.14.2 beta, no details have been given as to why but Apple also pulled WatchOS 5.1 yesterday after users were reporting it bricking their device.

Apple releases iOS 12.1, WatchOS 5.1 and tvOS 12.1 beta 2 to Developers


Apple released iOS 12 GM to Developers on September 12th and the full version to the Public on September 17th, Apple has now released beta 1 of iOS 12.0.1 to registered developers. Apple addedGroup FaceTime is back in beta 1.

Apple also released WatchOS 5.1 beta 1 and tvOS beta 1 to registered developers.

In this update Apple is releasing its own take on Unicode 11.0 emojis. In Beta 1 Apple brought back Group FaceTime for up to 32 people.

Users who are registered developers can update via ota or using iTunes beta profile.

Apple releases iOS 12

Here is how you can enjoy watchOS 5 GM immediately

Shortly after Apple held their “Gather round” event they are released watchOS 5 GM to the developer beta testers which is the final watchOS 5 release. For those who want to enjoy watchOS 5 before it is released to the public can still install using the beta profile on their watch immediately.

It is important to note that you will need to be running iOS 12 builder or GM which you can access via this link.
