Running a VPN (Virtual Private Network) is essential these days for staying safe online and we show you how to add PIA (Private Internet Access) profile to your Android.

Step 1. Open Settings

Step 2. Tap General

Step 3. Tap add VPN

Step 4. In the VPN Name field, enter Private Internet Access

Step 5. For Type, Choose L2TP/IPSec PSK

Step 6. In Server address Enter us-california.privateinternetaccess.com Or if you prefer to use a specific location, You can find the full list of locations here: https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/pages/network

Step 7. Leave L2TP Secret, and IPSec Identifier blank

Step 8. In the IPSec Pre-shared key type: mysafety

Step 9. Tap Save

Step 10. Open Settings and tap on Wireless Controls

Step 11. Tap on Private Internet Access

Step 12. Enter your Generated Username and Password If you have not generated this yet, please follow the steps here: Generating a Password for PPTP/L2TP/SOCKS

Step 13. Check Save account information if you want to save the password

Step 14. Tap Connect
