Since the new Jailbreak tool by TaiGwe have seen several versions released with the latest being 2.3 which was released overnight. We recommend doing a fresh restore of your device first to clear any possible bugs. You can now jailbreak using the latest iTunes, users might still get this dreaded Apple Driver has not been found error, Here’s how to fix it.
First make sure you have 64bit* variant of latest iTunes version installed on your computer. You can download the latest version of iTunes for Windows directly from here.
Download this 64bit iTunes driver for Windows from here.
Download and extract TaiG 2.1.2 which you can get from our here.
Disable Find My iPhone and Passcode lock on your device and unpair your apple watch if you have one paired (you can renable these once completed), also disable your antivirus.
Connect your device to your computer
Run the TaiG 2.3 tool and it should automatically detect your device
Uncheck the 3K assistant, but keep Cydia checked
Wait until the jailbreak completes. (If you see storage full errors, just ignore those)
Once the jailbreak completes, find the Cydia app on your Home screen and launch it and let it run through its initial startup process.
Once finished you can pair your apple watch if you have one and then re enable find my iPhone and pass code lock.
Add this repo http://cydia.myrepospace.com/GeekCorner/ in Cydia and you will get the top voted repo’s.
You are now ready to continue as normal. If you get any problems updating apps from the App Store read our guide on how to fix.
