Apple are known to raise AppStore prices in countries when exchange rates fluctuate drastically and now UK users are to experience this increase. The increase won’t currently affect subscription plans just yet. 


The change will affect the cost of apps, games and also to in-app purchases. Apps that previously cost 79p will now cost 99p, those that previously cost £1.49 will now cost £1.99.

Apple confirmed the changes in notifications sent out to iOS and macOS developers this week. It doesn’t mention changes to iTunes prices for music, movies, and other content yet.
